Summary: Great book!
Comment: This story is very interesting and it also gives the reader a better idea of how Indians used to live in their day to day life. The encounters with bears, diseases and death, and the struggle for survival in harsh winters. There is also another book coming out in April of 2000 by Gary Myers called "Pancakes & Coffee." This is a true adventure story about Gary's struggles for survival while he travels on the ocean in his canoe. Watch for it!

Summary: Great story!
Comment: This is a story about an Indian's search for truth in his spritual life. The story describes in detail the daily life of the northern Indians... the stuggles and the victories, their thoughts. The author lives in the wilds of Alaska, which is why I believe that he is able to go into such detail about what life is like in the wilderness. Very interesting and intriguing book. The bookcover is nice too.
