Summary: Intriguing Book
Comment: I recently purchased M.E. Coopers book Slow Death. I enjoy reading crime novels and find forensic investigations fascinating. M.E. Cooper done a fine job writing this book and the story line was great. To think that someone would use antifreeze to poison someone is unthinkable, and for the two detectives to stay on top of the case for three years is truly dedication to the profession. This book is a must for all amatuer detectives and "C.I." watchers! I can't wait to see the Forensic File episode documenting this case it has to be incredible. Thanks Ms. Cooper!

Summary: Slow Death-Antifreeze Murder Case
Comment: The book Slow Death involves a One-of-a-Kind murder case investigated by two dedicated Detectives in North Central Oklahoma. The book seems to be a quick review of the actual case. It is my understanding the case took more than three years to solve and involved many diverse people. Ms. Cooper did a good job writing the book but really only scratched the surface of a time and forensic intensive case. This book is a must buy for the forensic maniacs who thrive on mystery and scientific analysis. This book spawned the "Forensic File" episode "The Big Chill" which aires from time to time on Court TV. This book is well worth the money and time it takes to read it. It will leave you with the desire to dig deeper into the case and know more about the "actors" and how this One-of-a-Kind murder case was solved!

Summary: WHY LIE?
Comment: IAM IN THE BOOK,UNDER ANOTHER NAME, I WOULD JUST LIKE ANYONE READING THIS BOOK ABOUT CAROL HELLARS DEATH TO KNOW THERE ARE ALOT OF LIES SO PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THE 'TRUE CRIME' AS IT SAYS ON THE BOOK. SINCE THIS IS NOT A TRUE STORY ON ALL ACCOUNTS. THANK YOU
