Comment: The 78th Fighter Group is owed a debt of gratitude by all who treasure freedom. The guys of the 78th cut a wide path thru the skies over France, Holland, and Germany to stem the tide of Facism in WWII. The book is one of only two that I would call "definitive" on the Americans and the missions they flew out of the famed Duxford Air Field in England. Duxford was home to the Americans who flew for the British before America entered the war. Lots of data, pictures, personal accounts. If you have even the faintest interest in what some of our boys were doing in WWII you will want to get this book. These guys put the daring in derring-do. If you have more than a faint interest in the material you should already have the book.
