Summary: As essential as your stethoscope
Comment: Kaye's book is in the car with me every day; it is my "hospice bible" of symptom control. All hospice nurses should have a copy of it. It was what I used to study for the certification test.

Summary: Essential for any hospice nurse
Comment: I cut my hospice teeth on this book in the beginning of my hospice career. From field work to management, I still keep a copy close by for reference. It is a excellent resource for studying for the hospice nurse certification test. I believe there is a newer edition than 1990.
