Summary: The Rebel's saga is confusing...
Comment: First off, I didn't like this series, the technology dosn't make sense. It's both primitive and "futuristic" at the same time. Apparently they still drive cars, seemingly no better than any you could find on the street today, hundreds of years into the future. The plot is difficult to figure out, and I didn't like that it flashbacked for most of the book with little or no warning at all when reading from page to page. Pretty much, the only things I did recognize were the little palace and Sorrow's End, although the latter had fallen into complete ruin,...sigh...please, please those working for Warp write a nice nonconflicting story line that doesn't fly completly over the heads of your readers. Thanks.

Summary: A good sci-fi tale, but it doesn't seem like Elfquest.
Comment: This is an interesting science-fiction story that looks more like Star Trek than Elfquest. How can you have an Elfquest story with no elves in it? This tale is about humans who end up searching for elves in a time long after previous books in the series. It contains none of the familiar Elfquest characters. Wendy Pini wrote the first drafts of this story long before she ever started working on Elfquest. Later, she tried to incorporate it into the Elfquest saga, but I didn't think that idea worked very well. The writers and artists who worked on this space opera did a pretty good job, though, and I recommend it as a story in its own right. It's exciting and clean enough to read to kids.
