Summary: Great for challenging super spellers in your classroom!
Comment: Super Sentences provides a means for teachers to accommodate the needs of students in their rooms who perform above grade level in spelling. Each sentence contains about 12 unusual words, words such as "flabbergast" and "cacophony". Students are challenged to learn not only the spelling, but the meanings of these words as well. Once a student has mastered all of the words in a "super sentence", he or she is asked to rewrite the sentence, replacing the "super" words with more common terms. Great for gifted students!!!
