Summary: One of the Best Yiddish Primers
Comment: This is a great book for someone just beginning to learn Yiddish or for those with some familiarity with the language to brush up and add to their knowledge. The book is easy to use and offers a variety of interesting, fun exercises. It uses both Yiddish letters and transliterated English letters. In a disarmingly simple style, using pictures, poems, songs and a range of exercises, you will pick up vocabulary and grammar. Another plus is a short history of the language and an explanation of the various Yiddish language. I've used several introductory Yiddish texts - this one is by far the best.

Summary: An organised review of the language
Comment: I began using this book knowing nothing about the language, and in a few short moinutes i was able to read and speak a few phrases. After a few weeks of reading i was able to conjugate in multiple tenses. This is a great choice for anyone who wants to learn yiddish.
