Comment: I think my favorite Charater was Nick Spear... I think his Character was the best developed throughout. Easist for me to follow. I also loved to hate Eva but wanted more on her evilness. My favorite good guy was John Shepard... Very believable.

The first part of the book seemed like a bunch of unrelated short stories. Each one was really good and had lots of suspense but I was dying to see how it all tied in and that didn't happen until I was half way through the book. I got a little frustrated.

I wished the whole conspiracy and deaths would have been longer. It just seemed like it all happened so fast at the end and then it was over.

I loved the way everybody died and the good guys in the book were allowed to remain good guys. Nobody "really" killed anybody. At least not the five good guys. Pretty cool and very creative.

Comment: We met the author, Richard Marsh, at the Kitty Hawk 100th Anniversary Flight Celebration in Dec 03. My wife is an avid reader of adventure/mystery/murder novels. Richard gave us a copy of his book in exchange for a copy of my book, The Man Who Flew the Memphis Belle. Linda loved Richard's book. She stayed up all night reading it. Her report is the characters are so fleshed out they feel like someone she knew. The plot was twisted, spun together with an almost impossible plot that pulled together in the finale.

She's waiting for Richard's next book.

Comment: Great book. I happened to be in San Francisco on a business trip when I read it. The settings are very real, and the complexity and intrigue in the book made me read it straight through. I'd wholeheartedly agree that this book could be tunred into a great movie. How about a screenplay, Mr. Marsh?
