Summary: good supplemental resource
Comment: This is a good book to have in supplement to "Circle Round" by Starhawk. Although it doesn't have nearly as much information, it does have one thing Circle Round doesn't: the rituals themselves. The seasonal rituals are actually family plays- a very creative way to celebrate a holiday. There are also songs, fun crafts, and recipes for each holiday. This book also goes into detail with life passage rituals. Even Pagan families who are not Wiccan may find this title helpful.

Summary: The best book yet!
Comment: We have many different Pagan parenting books in our library and we appreciate them all, but we have found Wiccacraft for Families to be our favorite. We turn to this one more often than we do any other. Wiccacraft for Families is like a family Book of Shadows. Within it's pages are recipes, rituals, activities, and crafts for the Sabbats, Moons, and Rites of Passages. Although we have Circle Round by Starhawk in our library and use it often for ideas, we find this one fits our path better especially for ritual and such.
Our family recommends this book as an addition to a Pagan family library.

Comment: There are no words to describe how much I love this book, but I will try anyway!
The author put a lot of love into it; each ritual is perfect for families with children, or even beginning Pagans! The rituals are beautifully written and easy to adapt. The recipes are healthy and perfect for each sabbat. The crafts are easy and fun.
This book is the first book I reach for when planning a ritual or a sabbat. I think that if a Pagan family had to have just one book, this would be the one! Ms. McArthur has written a beautiful book on how to raise children in the Pagan way with love and fun. Don't be scared away by the ugly front cover! This book contains so much wisdom, love, and great advice. A true treasure! I hope the author continues to put out more great books!
