Summary: Bad Scholarship!!!!
Comment: There are many problems in Woodrows Biblical interpretation but I will just give one example to prove the point. Jesus said No man will no the day nor the hour I return. Two will be in the field one taken the other left. Two will be grinding at the mill, one taken the other left. Two will be sleeping one taken the other left..., etc., Now Woodrow and other assume Jesus is speaking hear of the second coming at the end of the age; but Jesus said NO MAN WILL KNOW THE DAY OR THE HOUR CORRECT? If this was talking about the second coming and not the rapture then Jesus was wrong, because those, who remain on earth, at the time, will know the day Jesus is coming back. It will be precisely 7 years (360 day Hebrew years) to the day after the European leader signed a peace deal with Israel guaranteeing Israel peace and safety. Also to buttress this it Will be exactly 3 1/2 years (360 day Hebrew years) after the Abomination of desolation takes place in the rebuilt Jewish temple. just as the prophet Daniel predicted that to the exact day (palm Sunday) that Jesus would ride into Jerusalem and accept being called the messiah (then after tat be cut off-killed and also after that The temple would be destroyed and Israel scattered thought the world) Daniel predicted the day Jesus the CHRIST would came back the second time. So The day and hour no one knows has to be the rapture. The coming back for the Church and the end of the Church Age. Then we commence with Daniel's 70s week, the 69 weeks (weeks of 7 Hebrew years) was already accomplished on Palm Sunday a week before Jesus was crucified. Another problem with Woodrow is he does not understand partial fulfillment of prophecy or types of fulfillment, some popes were horrible and acted as anti Christ's but they were not THE ANTI CHRIST, there is still that one coming. I don't have the room to get into that hear but see Hal Lindsey's Book VANISHED Into Thin Air The Hope Of every Believer for a scholarly work on the rapture.

Summary: Time to revisit this book again to correct the errors
Comment: Once again we have the Post Trib camp stating that the pre-tribbers have got it wrong again. I believe that "Woody" needs to travel back to "Infinity & beyond" to recheck his facts. The New Testament as well as the Early Church Fathers up to approx 3rd Century taught imminence, that Christ would return at any moments, I am suprised that with all of Woody's "research" into the Catholic Church etc that he hadn't come across Origin and Augustine's move from the imminent to the post Tribulation or a-millenial view. Better off reading Arnold Frauchtenbaum on this issue.
And to the rest of the Believing Christians, don't worry if you don't understand the Rapture, Us pre-tribbers will explain it to you on the way up.

Summary: Typical Distortion of the Rapture picture
Comment: As is the case with just about every book attacking the whole concept of the Rapture in general - and specifically the concept of the pre-tribulational Rapture idea - the author commits the error of saying that the Rapture is somehow "secret" in the way it is presented to the American church. There is nothing secret about it; it is plainly taught in the New Testament. The only thing unknown about it concerns the timing debate, which is really the crux of the matter. Woodrow's title for the book suggests to the nominal reader that the Rapture concept was hatched up in secrecy by certain individuals who were not following scripture. Should anyone find the timing question difficult to accept (assuming it really is not known), they should consider what Jesus said in Matthew 24:44. For the Bible-believing Christian, Christ's words settle the matter.
