Summary: Keeping everybody on the same page
Comment: This book ties together all the features needed to quickly review the appropriateness of the drug for the diagnosis. Since the regulations were promulgated by HCFA pertaining to the unnecessary drugs there has been a need for a book of this type. The Beers article has been unpopular in some settings, but as a nurse with more than thirty years of geriatric experience I find the guidelines to be right on target. I am purchasing this book for the nursing stations in our skilled facility.
