Comment: I am a therapist and use guided imagery alot. Rossman's book is invaluable to me as a therapist and my clients as well. It is very clear and can be recommended to my clients who are interested. But the healing power of interactive guided imagery surpasses any quided imagery that we can come up with, another words - it is better to help guide someone to their own healing places, images, and symbols. It never ceases to amaze me the self healing mechanisms that we possess - even the most trumatized. This is a suburb book, above all the rest!

Comment: As a graduate of the Academy for Guided Imagery in Mill Valley, California, of which Dr. Rossman is a co-founder and director, it really comes as no surprise to me to find this book is written in a way that demonstrates very clearly the results of Dr. Rossman's many years of experience in the field. It displays the sensitivity with clear insight that are the hallmarks of a competent and compassionate imagery practitioner. For anyone seeking to develop their skills as an imagery guide as well as those who face their own life-challenging events and wish to take some charge of their physical and emotional lives, I can heartily recommend this volume.

An excellent guide for any interested in effectively using guided imagery techniques.
