Comment: I find this book to have very good ideas on how to keep one's pet(s) from being stolen, on how to protect them in the case that they are, and other ways of protecting them -- from poisons, sickness and lousy kennels & petsitters, etc. The only thing that I believe would not be as valuable today are the motels/hotels they recommend that take animals -- only because this book was written in 1979 and things have most definitely changed since then! Recommended reading.
