Summary: Cogent, informational review of alcoholism research
Comment: An excellent broad-spectrum coverage of topical alcohol-related research. I found very concise information about changes in American drinking patterns in by Hilton & Clark. I especially enjoyed the clear explanation of research methods used which, in other papers of epidemilogical research, is not as clear. Also, the chapter about social processes very helpful for understanding concepts related to primary prevention.
