Summary: Meditations for thought, reflection, and personal growth.
Comment: I had this book prior to this re-release and have used it off and on until just recently, when I needed to refocus on my inner-connectedness to the world around me. I have started reading the passages daily, sometimes more than once.
This book has a meditation or thought-provoking passage for each day of the year, including leap years. It always seems to me that issues I have been wrestling with are discussed in this little book exactly when I need to see something on a particular subject.
There is an index both by subject and author of the various passages in the book, so if you are interested in a certain topic, you can use the subject index in the back of the book. I found this to be particularly helpful when I had specific issues I wanted to reflect upon and needed some food for thought.
I have purchased this book as a gift for two dear friends in the last month or so, and would highly recommend this to anyone reflecting or pondering personal issues of great import.
