Those books talk about the wonders and joys of answered prayer. This book describes the challenges of waiting prayer.

Laying it on the Line explores nearly every angle to developing a vibrant prayer life -- what's the best way to address God? what is the best position for prayer? what about unanswered prayers?, etc. Charlie writes with an honest, self-effacing style. You know you are reading the thoughts of someone who earnestly wants to be close to God, but struggles with God's silence. This book is full of great ideas that have blessed my prayer life.
