Summary: Living a Life You Won't Regret
Comment: Off and on I would read an article written by Mr. Welch in Focus on the Family's monthly magazine. What impressed me enough to hunt down a copy of anything he had written was Mr. Welch's style of writing. He writes naturally, and while you read his stories, you nod your head in agreement and you are urged to read on. I could not get enough of his writings, so I called Eugene, Oregon's Register-Guard where he is a feature writer, and was able to speak with Mr. Welch in person. He was very flattered that I wanted some of his writings and told me of a book he'd written several years back and he had several copies left if I'd send a check, etc. When I received my copy, I devoured each page, even hungry for more. Mr. Welch, please write another book! So what makes this book a winner? This book will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but most of all, it will make you think. What do you value most in life? What are you willing to give up to have it? Many of his articles in the book hit me right between the eyes and convicted me on what is worthy of my attention right now. He talks of high values; family, church, God. Not necessarily in that order. His style envelopes the reader. You will feel like he's in your living room telling you these stories. I'm writing to him and ordering several copies for friends this Christmas. Hope you can find a copy for yourself!
