Summary: a sequel that actually lives up to the first version
Comment: Most sequels, in any media, do not live up to their predecessors. This is not the case for this beautiful sequel to the wonderfully crafted children's book by Margy Burns Knight. The author has obviously researched exensively over the walls that she presents in both volumes and yet she presents such complex histories in understandable ways for your children, then offering a more technical, academic compendium for students with more interest. A wonderful way to start a social studies unit with an item that every child living everywhere can relate to: walls.
