Summary: Great book for families going through a teenage pregnancy
Comment: One of the best books for families of a pregnant teenager I have read. I just wish it was around when I became pregnant at 16. Ironically, it was written the same year. I think it is a great example of a family focusing on what's important in the situation, instead of embarassment and what everyone else thinks etc.
I would also love to know what happened to this family...

Summary: An insightful journey
Comment: Excellent book. This was a first-hand look into the life of a teenage mother. Unlike most books which focus on the teenage mother, this book looked at the feelings of her father. This nine month journey was filled with the joys and sorrows, the happiness and the guilt that many fathers might feel if they were in "Bill's" shoes. As a minister, he fights with the moral and popular opinion of the choice his daughter has made and is firm in his commitment to stand behind her, no matter what she chooses.
Excellent book. Interesting as an unofficial case study.
