Summary: Good overview of HRV written by experts in the field
Comment: The book presents a balanced summary of HRV technology and clinical applications. It is lacking in the more recent developments of nonlinear and geometric methods of HRV analysis.This new technology is developing at such a rapid pace that it is already out of date in several areas, in particular the newer techniques of analysis including Poincare plot analysis and the clinical applications including post AMI risk stratification as reported in the ATRAMI study.
