Comment: I really couldn't go on with this book. I had only gotten to the part on the Egyptian gods, and already there were too many inaccuracies. Oh well...

Summary: inaccurate and sometimes contradictory
Comment: This book, which claims to be an introduction to the world's religions,spends 2/3 of its time discussing the development of Christianity. Even if the potential reader is a non-Christian or a Christian who seeks to rationalize Christianity with reason, this book has many errors and off-the-wall remarks which are misleading. For the Christian who basically holds to all the truth of the Bible, you are much better off consulting other books for knowledge about the other religions of the world.
