Summary: a step in the right direction...
Comment: Prof. Munitz asks all the right questions here and he answers them as well as any book on the subject, with additional excursions into cosmological observations.
The problem is the unsupported assertions about "the gift of life" and impossible suggestion about "heightening one's awareness under Boundless Existence" as an alternative to religion.
If you are careful to avoid the logical mistakes inherent in taking the collection of objects which make up the universe as a single entity, then the book can be very helpful as a discussion of the human struggle to understand.
