Rating: 5
Summary: Full of good ideas
Comment: I really liked this book. True, it would be very demanding to do everything they suggest, at least all at once, but there are many wonderful ideas here about how to incorperate the Catholic faith into your child's everyday life.

Rating: 5
Summary: Excellent!
Comment: The Sacrifice of the Mass is not to be made on this altar, but it is there as a place to keep your holy reminders and sacramentals. Perhaps it could be something as simple as a table, or the top of a dresser (as it is in my apartment), where you keep your Bible, some rosaries, and a crucifix. "Complete blinding obedience?" How is perfect obedience to our Church's teachings bad? This is what it is to be Catholic--to be loyal followers of Christ in *all areas* of our lives.

This book is very thorough, and would be just what any Catholic, loyal to the Magisterium, would need in fostering a true love of the Faith in their children. As a matter of fact, what I liked most about it, is that it isn't wishy-washy. At our children's baptisms, we make the promise to raise our children in the Faith. This book will help you do this with your little ones. We should be raising little Saints! That is our purpose as Catholic parents!

Summary: Poor choice
Comment: I bought this book looking for simple ways to bring my daughter into the Catholic faith. Not only was I disappointed, I was enraged in some places. The author believes people should have altars in thier homes and complete blinding obedience to the faith. If you live like the author expects you to, then you don't need this book. If you live like most Catholics do, find another book, because this book is only for those with extreme versions of what it means to be Catholic.
