Summary: The Hobbit Book Review
Comment: The Hobbit is full of on-the-edge-of-your-seat adventure. J.R.R. Tolken brings the characters to life in this non-stop action thriller. Once you start to read this book you will be hooked and will not be able to stop reading. J.R.R. Tolken describes everything so well that it feels like this fantasy world is real.

The Hobbit takes place in a world of magic and evil. Bilbo Baggins is an old hobbit who wants to live the rest of his life in peace and harmony, but destiny has different plans. One day Bilbo was resting at his home when all of a sudden many dwarves came to Bilbo's house, talking about a long and dangerous journey that ends with killing a dragon and taking it's gold. At first Bilbo quickly rejects the idea. Then he hears exactly how much gold is involved and it was pretty hard for Bilbo to say no, so he decides to go along with the dwarves and the wizard. What Bilbo does not realize is that he going to be facing the most cruel and evil creatures in the world, like goblins, wolves, giant spiders and many more dangerous creatures.

This is definitely one of the best books I have read in my life. Anybody can read it and everybody will like it. This book is J.R.R. Tolken's best piece of writing by far. This one of a kind tale is a book you will remember your whole life and should definitely be on our book shelf.

Summary: A One-of-a-Kind Story
Comment: The first time I read The Hobbit I was eleven years old, and I was in the fifth grade.I Have read the book about five times since then. All of J.R.R Tolkien's books are excellant, one-of-a-kind, and very creative. Tolkien knows how to write an inspirational fantasy novel. For all fantasy lovers everywhere, The Hobbit, as well as all the books in the Lord of the Rings trilogy are a must have item for you.
One of the things I love most about The Hobbit is that the book is suitable for all ages. Little children would delight in this magical story and the adventures of bilbo baggins, the wizard Gandalf, and the rest of thier dwarf companions. The story is suspenseful and exciting, and also contains the excitement of a large-scale medevil battle, which adds to the excitement of the wonderful ending.
Besides being very well thought out, the book also is very descriptive. Tolkien gives the reader every oppertunity to use his or her imagination to the fullest. I personally recommend that one always read the novel by Tolkien before witnessing a film or cartoon based on his writings. No one can tell an enchanting story like Tolkien. The book is more complete than the cartoon or the film, and this gives readers a chance to better understand the characters and overall story details. It is better to experience the story from the vison of the creator rather than to view something used to imitate that which he created.
Anyone who enjoys literature will regret not reading The Hobbit. It is a magnificent story even if you do not have quite the acute taste for fantasy. The Story contains some valuable life-lessons. The Hobbit is definitely a brilliant story that all readers must experience at least once in thier lifetime.

Summary: A great treat!
Comment: In an earlier time, and in a different place, there was once a time of magic--a time of wizards and dragons and elves and dwarves. And, in an unnoticed corner of the world there lived a race of hobbits: a small people with furry feet, and too much common sense to go on adventures. But, when a particularly stable hobbit named Bilbo Baggins is visited by the great wizard Gandalf, he soon finds himself in the middle of an adventure with 13 dwarves, facing ogres and orcs and all sorts of dangers. Is the adventuring life too much for one small hobbit in the great big world? Read this book and find out!

OK, everybody knows the story of the Hobbit, right? Well, if you haven't read this book recently, then it's time to reread it! My children are now old enough, and every night I am reading a little more to them from the adventures of Bilbo Baggins. They love this tale, and reading it again is a great treat for me! This is a great book, correctly considered a classic of western literature, one that my children and I highly recommend to you.
