Summary: Best all-around accounting explanation
Comment: I am a CPA and bought this book in 1983 when it was first printed. Although portions of the book are out-of-date (statement of changes in financial position has been superceded and now there is a statement of cash flows), the fundamentals are sound and the book explains accounting with great accuracy and simplicity. I wish the authors would write an updated edition.
