Summary: It was Great!!!
Comment: I have read all of Goines books and "Black Girl Lost" is just another great booked to add to the collection. It identifies with teenage relationships today in the eighties and ninties. This book really hit's home. It just show you how strong, and binding alot of young relationships in the ghetto are today. And sacrifices young adults make. I recommend this book to everyone not only young reader's but older reader's too everyone can relate to what this couple is going through in this book. Keep up the good work Donald Goines.

Comment: I have never read many books in my lifetime, and none have ever brought me to real emotions like Black Girl Lost. Personally, I feel that this is the best book ever written! It has turned my on to all of Donald Goines books, it has touched me in a way no other book could. It shows the real responsibilty of a man's woman, and the truth about Ghetto Luv! This is as real as it gets folks, dis is a must have for every black reader!

Summary: The only book that has ever touched me
Comment: This book was great. I was drawn into every moment of it. i could feel how cold she was and how miserable her life was i wanted to help her but i knew i couldnt it made me want to never stop reading. i could feel the love she had for chink and how she could have been a wonderful kid if her mom had just cared for her. she only got into the wrong people and made the wrong decisions because no one had ever taught her right from wrong. i could feel her pain when she was sad i could feel her happiness when she was happy i felt like i was living her life from the heavens above just watching her not being able to guide her. i loved this book it taught me alot and showed me it could be worse knowing certain circumstances.
