Summary: Interesting, but somewhat disappointing.
Comment: Many of the homes featured are interesting and beautifully photographed, even if a bit exotic and large to be simply labeled 'vacation homes and hideaways.' However, as you might expect from House & Garden, it's still primarily an 'interiors book.' There are no floor plans and few exterior photographs. That is the major flaw of the book to me and why I give it a mediocre rating.
