Summary: A short review of the history of the camera
Comment: A very clearly written, informative volume. It gives an enormous breadth of introductory material concentrating on cameras, but also pulling in accessories, film and processing. Wade has a pleasant writing style. He is easy to read, providing technical information with good explanations that make sense to non-technicians. A very good general interest read as well as being instructive to the more knowledgable. It is a pity it is out of print.
