Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Comment: In this book, Josh explores some of the major problems that our youth are facing today. Such as, premarital sex, lying, stealing, cheeting, etc... Josh tells us through a series of fictional families and situations that are all too real, why it is actually wrong to lie and cheet and steal. This is an excellent book for parents or even youth leaders as my self who want some ammunition to combat these problems that are plaguing our society!

Summary: Wonder if this book is necessary?
Comment: Wonder if this book is necessary? Ask a group of young people, (or for that matter a group of adults), this question: "Is truth something you determine for yourself or something that exists outside yourself?" I am shocked how many people believe that truth is situational. I fear that the prevelance of this type of moral relativism--this myth that each of us can be our own god--is the among the most critical challenges our shrinking world faces.

Summary: A fundamentalist christian masquerade
Comment: I've just finished the book recommended by a friend. I found it to be nothing more than a platform for the author's very christian conservative views.
I absolutely do not agree with the author's statement, "our children are being raised in a society that has largely rejected the concepts of truth and morality". No way. Our children are being raised by parents and peers as they have been for thousands of years. We are responsible for their upbringing, not society. And we need to teach them religious tolerance. Not the type of venomous hatred this author seeps into his narratives.
