Comment: It is clear that Margaret Smith's book was, indeed, made with love. She provides thirty vignettes that highlight the many faces of creativity and how our creative acts can affect those around us. Each story includes a postscript that reminds us of the ways in which God expresses his creativity in this world through us. Smith provides discussion questions to help us think more about our role as co-creators. Along with each story, Smith outlines easy craft projects that demonstrate that we can all be creative with the simple things we find in this world. Periodically through the book, the reader is given "Room to Think"--pages for readers to add their own reflections on the devotional stories. In this way, reading "Made With Love" becomes a creative act in itself. The reader has no excuse, then, to not be creative; I may be too lazy to get up to find the everyday ingredients for the craft projects, but I cannot pretend that I cannot find a pencil! Margaret Smith's inspirational book is a great book to be shared by the family.
