Summary: wonderful resource in the face of miscarriage
Comment: Although I have never been asked to face the trial of losing an unborn baby, the lengths of my sympathy were stretched by the emotions evoked by this book! Julie Martin speaks from her own experience with grief, and approaches it with tender honesty. The book is a mixture of poetry, journal-style prose, & beautiful illustrations, encapsulated in 128 easily-digestable pages. Personally, it helped to remind me of God's loving sovereignty, even over life, as I faced the fears that prowled my own heart during pregnancy. More importantly, though, it has been a resource that offered words of true empathy when I needed them for others facing miscarriage.
