Summary: Ambulatory Medicine: The Primary Care of Families
Comment: very important; this book was not designed to be a stand alone. it is a wonderful quick reference. if i don't see what i need, or it doesn't jog my memory, i am sure to have an in depth book. for what this is it is just fine, and is small enough to go everywhere. i still use the 1st edition, the updates in the new ed not being that critical, to this easy to use broad review of the 66 most common ailments. great spiral binding lies flat. complete with flow charts, illustrations, tables, and statistics.
Rating: 3
Summary: A good idea gone bad
Comment: Published in 1996, this book is already dated. Many treatment protocols have since changed. Carrying a Washington Manual or a 5 Minute Consults book provides much more information.
Rating: 5
Summary: an exellant medical book
Comment: this book is good in evaluating medical problems can faced a primary health care provider on adaily basis
