Summary: It touches home
Comment: This book was written about my husband's family so it has even more meaning to me. It is heartbreaking to think of the tirbulations that Lucy faced and did so with an unfailing faith in God. It is a true testament how God can touch one heart and that heart can spread the love through the generations. Please know that when you read this book that her purpose was to talk of her love of Christ and not to bring out any sympathy for the conditions for which she lived in. Our's is a family based on PRIDE and FAITH. Fortunately, we had a wonderful example. Thank you to Carol Kaufman for the beautiful way she got those words out!

Summary: The reading of "Lucy Winchester" written by Carol Kauffman
Comment: I was A young girl in my preteens when I first came across this book at A church I attended. Though prior to checking this book out of the church library I requested that I be babtised and was. This book is so very inspirational! I've been searching for it for many years now. I am 30 years old and A mother of 4 young sons. This book I have wished to have on several occasions so as to offer it to persons I have meet along my path. Carol Kauffman receives an excellent thumbs up from me. I would also like to read some more of her works in the future.
EXTREMELY INSPIRATIONAL!!!!

Comment: The first time I read this book I was twelve years old. It left such an impression on me that I have been looking for it ever since. As I read it again I realized that it touched me just the same. It is a well written and captivating story. I'm sure I will read it many times over in the years to come.
