Summary: What a horrible thing to do to a good book
Comment: The wisdom of Thomas a Kempis is completely lost in this rather miserable translation. There is no reverence here, only a glib smoothness that I suppose the translator thought clever. If I could rate this with negative numbers for stars, I would.
