Comment: I purchased this book for my 6 year old son after seeing a fabulous review of it in Scientific America (suggested books for kids) ... I found it not in the least bit intriguing. The games include counting stars and their points, "go fish" and others that my kids (and I would assume many others) already know. The games were not exciting or stimulating to my son. This book may be helpful and fun to those who need help counting and are just learning basic math, however, I would not recommend it to anyone who has a child who is already doing basic math.
