Comment: Patricia Waddell delivers another great historical romance with He Said No. Granby (the hero) makes the transition from rake to besotted husband with ease. He delights in his changing feelings and takes the reader along on the ride of his life. The romance sizzles and tempts, the setting and plot are on the mark and the characters are as real as if they were standing next to you. Don't miss this exquisite detour to old England. . .and you may not want to come back!

Summary: Really fun read
Comment: This is the second book from the author that I read, and I loved this one. I just had not expected it to so much fun. I found that both the hero and heroine were witty and intelligent. The author allowed them to develop a relationship based on more than lust (which in it's self could be fun), more on respect and friendship. After reading her first story, She said Yes, I was not really expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. I almost did not buy it but after looking it over in the bookstore, I had to bring it home. Don't get me wrong, She said Yes was fine, but this one is funner.

Comment: I highly recommend this book. I've read several of Ms. Waddell's books and she has a special way of bringing the characters to life. HE SAID NO is no exception. Catherine and Granby will have you smiling as they struggle not to fall in love. This book is full of fast-paced dialogue and characters that will keep you turning the pages.
