Comment: This book is a collection of romance stories by several different writers. Sweet Companion is written by Nancy Lawrence and is a good story. Antony Aylesworth St. John, Fifth Earl of Granfell a busy man who has been away for a while comes to visit his invalid mother and discovers that she appears to be doing better and that her new companion Olivia Charteris is responsible for her apparent improved health. Antony fears that Olivia is a charelton when he hears that she has been using herbal remedies on his mother and even though his mother's doctor has determined that Olivia's treatments can not cause any harm and actually seem to be helping his mother he still doesn't trust Olivia's motives and trys to force her to leave but he soon finds out that he may have judged her unfairly and finds himself falling in love with the sweet companion. Change of Heart is written by Violet Hamilton. In this story Margaret Woodhall a widowed mother proves that mother knows best when she disaproves of the man her rebellious daughter Susan is infatuated with and sets out to make a proper match for her and Margaret winds up finding love for herself too. Darling Daughters is written by Jeanne Savery. In This story Lance Atterly a widowed Earl is in need of a mother for his daughters. He is basically just looking for a mother for his girls and not looking for a love match but when He meets a beautiful young lady named Christian Pelling he just may have found a woman that he can love!
