Summary: One of the best I have read......
Comment: I really enjoyed this book and hope to read it many more times. I felt a real empathy with Joyce Bova and think she truly cared for Elvis. I disagreed with many of the things she did [especially the abortion] but who knows what we would have done in her place. It is not for others to judge her. I felt I really liked Joyce Bova through reading the book and would love to know what she is doing now and whether she would feel able to make contact with Elvis fans.

Summary: Very good book on a love affair with "The King"
Comment: I read Joyce Bova's book on her love affair with Elvis and I thought that it was a beautiful but tragic story. Personally I believe her. From beginning to end the book showed the start of a relationship and its crashing end due to Elvis' dependency on prescription drugs, which the author also admits to dabbling in as well. However, the only problem I had with the book was Ms. Bova's "messing around with a married man and proud of it" attitude. When she made the remark that "if he's so married, how come he invites me to his home", it made her look less classy and less of a lady- no matter if he was famous or still driving a truck. Other than that, I recommend this book on Elvis. It described him and didn't hold a thing back.

Summary: It carried me away to another time!
Comment: I am a 36 year old female, so I did not grow up during Elvis's rise to fame. I have, however, grown to appreciate his extraordinary style and talent as a performer. The years of publicity and volumes of written material on his life perpetrated on the American public instilled a curiosity in me to find out more about Elvis the man. I have read only a few books on Elvis' life (including Priscillas'), but Joyce Bova's book is by far the most believable and touching. It is a very human account of her life with Elvis; filled with joy, sadness, ups and downs. It's an amazing story of a chance of faith meeting that changed her life forever. It is most touching because it is a story that can capture the heart of anyone who has ever been in love and lost that love. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to simply read a beautiful story. It is a must read for every Elvis fan.
