Summary: Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol
Comment: A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is a really good book I thought. Your learn not to be greedy, selfish, and how to spread tons of love around Christmas. It teaches you not to take grantite of what you have. You should be thankful for what you got. The three ghosts of past, present, and the futer of Christmas. Ebenezer Scrooge is haunted by all the ghost plus his old friend Jacob Marley. This book is heart warmer to all or at least it should be. I hope everyone takes the time to read this heart warming book and enjoy it time after time.

Summary: Not for kiddies
Comment: This is Dickens at his best. But your add said this was for ages 4-8. As this does not appear to be an abridged addition, 4-8 years old is way too young. I will be reading it to my 8 year old, explaining the olde English phrases as we go. Best to say this is the original text and leave it at that.

Summary: Good Story, Not So Good Edition!
Comment: A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens has always been one of my favorite tales but unfortunately this one particular edition I read seemed to me to have been trimmed. Isn't this a short tale to begin with? But for some reason it seems to have been edited, either that or I got a defective book that had an accident on the printing press because it seemed that some words were missing either my mistake or they were trying to trim the story, anyway the tale itself is very good and Ebenezer Scrooge and the visits he received by the ghosts are very interesting but I would look for another Christmas Carol book put out by a different publishing company and hope it hasn't been edited! BTW: I'm writing a review about the Signet Classic paperback edition.
