Summary: Why are Americans the number one consumers of milk?
Comment: I purchased this book while doing a research project on the consumption of milk in American culture. This book does not intend to answer the highly debatable question of whether or not milk is good or bad for you, but rather does a great job of focusing on why we drink so much milk in the first place. If you are a milk lover or milk hater, have an interest in food and society, or are just curious to learn more about milk, I recommend this book.
