Comment: This book is a very thorough, comprehensive resource to South American Camelids. The book reads nicel. Besides being applicable to llama-medicine, many extrapolations can be made to non-domestic hoofstock and wildlife.

Summary: The only vet oriented lama book available.
Comment: Although the book can be a dificult read for the layman, it is THE book for medical information on lamas. Dr. Fowler has been in the forefront of the llama industry since its inception in this country. This is a must have for your veterinarian if you have a lama of any kind. The only new best thing will be his new edition due to be out soon. (Lama is the genus, such as alpaca, vicuna, llama is the particular animal)
