Summary: Academic Bell offers a superb "practical" approach
Comment: Although an academic with genuine credentials, Bell offers a superb overview of how to deal with office politics using "game theory," the systems approach that helped the U.S. win WWII. He is pragmatic, funny, logical and, most of all, very "reality-based." This is a superb book with a very , very bad "pop" psycho-babble title that in no way does it the justice it deserves. If you can find it, buy it. But beware of loaning it: you may never see it again
