Summary: Excellent Book, If you can find it.
Comment: This book is virtually impossible to find. The publisher has been out of stock for years, yeah right. Why was this PULLED from the market? Think you can find this book somewhere? I bet you can't.

Summary: A good medical mystery thriller.
Comment: Although I was blasted out of the AOL book nook for liking this book, I really did. It was very fast-paced and entertaining, another take on the old conspiracy theory with regard to the development and proliferation of AIDS and HIV. Hints of a new strain. An unscrupulous drug company (is there any other kind in fiction) and a manical self-promoter conspire to present the world with a vaccine that DOES NOT WORK, and in fact, may be worse than the disease. Of course a romance between the murdered doctor's old girlfriend and the detective from Scotland Yard is thrown in for good measure. For someone off women, he is certainly fixated on sleeping with her. The editing is quite sloppy, the publisher could have put the book on better paper and hired someone to tighten up the ramblings, but it was escapist medical thriller action all the way to the surprises at the end.
