Summary: This is a CLASSIC, Lumley's vampires rock!!!
Comment: I have been reading this series of books since I was in sixth grade, and these books are masterpieces!!! I am not the biggest vampire fan around, I think they are old, overused and out of date. However, Lumley has found a way to make a story so gripping and so original, that NECROSCOPE is one of my favorite books of all time!! A war between the dead and vampires, MASTERWORK if you ask me!! This novel charicters are also original and they do the story justice! I am sure this book will become a classic read in the years to come. I also think it's a shame that authors like Anne Rice get well noted for their vampire novels, when they don't even come close to Lumley's vampires. Brian Lumley's work to me is just as good as William Peter Blatty's 'The Exorcist' of Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot.' You will understand me once you have read it. NECROSCOPE is the ultimate in vampire horror. (P.S., the other novels in the series are pretty good too, but I would only recommend the first three in the series, and NECROSCOPE:THE LOST YEARS. So let Lumley give you a vampire story with definition, and read this book! I'm only 15 and I love it!

Summary: Necroscope/"You Vant to Read This Book"
Comment: Necroscope was great. I won't five star many books, but this certainly deserves it. Interesting from page one, I couldn't put it down. You get totally involved with all the characters, Harry is so wonderfully human, and yet...not. He bears his "talent" with such courage and humility. Boris Dragosani is interesting, even as he grows ever more evil and murderous. The whole ESP thing is exceptionally described and I wouldn't doubt if there was such organizations in the ESPionage field. The evil is terrifying and the forces of good are sometimes frightening as well. Mr. Lumley gives great depth to his characters and plot. The Vampire twist in this book is refreshingly unique. A mix of old ideas and new, create a formidable force in Thibor Frerenczy, "our" vampire. Brian Lumley is just as good as Stephen King or Clive Barker and just as unique. You really should give this book a chance, especially if you like science fiction and horror. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. ENJOY!

Summary: Necroscope rocks
Comment: Brian Lumley is so detailed in his writing like how he went in and told you all about Boris' and Harry's back-ground.I think that the writing tnd the plot of the story is just mind blowing.I've read a lot of books I mean a lot and no book has ever brought me in from the start.Like how he talks about necromancer and the e-branch.I would recomend this book to any vampire fans or any Stephen King fans.
