Mastering the business vocabulary of a foreign language is always challenging. On one hand, the business vocabulary available in standard dictionaries is too superficial to be of much use. Moreover, few basic courses provide much coverage of the language of business.
On the other hand, no one can learn the specialized vocabulary of every industry. (This would be impossible even in English!) Therefore, the big business vocabulary dictionaries are frequently overwhelming.
This book strikes a good balance. At slightly less than 400 pages in length, its coverage is extensive enough to fit the needs of most professionals, yet the scope of the book is also manageable. If you use Spanish for business purposes, then you will probably have an eventual need for almost all of the entries in this book.
The thematic arrangement of the words is also helpful for neophytes, and those who need to grasp the vocabulary of a particular subject in a hurry.

Summary: Thematic Approach helps you master one thing at a time
Comment: This book is very helpful. I read it before studying marketing for a year in Mexico. It helped me get a grasp on the vocabulary in my classes.
Later I was offered a job because I spoke Spanish and knew about business. This book helped forge the foundation of an international business career.
Currently I manage an import/export business in Monterrey, Mexico. This book has been extremely helpful.
I highly reccomended this book to a professor at the University of Tennessee for required reading use in his classes. (Spanish for Business)

Summary: Very Helpful
Comment: This book has proven very benificial to me. I am in the process of moving to South America with my employer. I am a Human Resource Manager and this book has helped me greatly with my spanish buisness vocabulary. Another book that I have found to be even more indispensable for me and a definite "5" star is the book "Spanish for Human Resources Managers."
