Summary: AMAZING BOOK....
Comment: I love math or at least i think i was good at math. But after one year of calculus in high school. I felt i was like the stupidest person in my calc class. My average was a B at the end but that was after hours and hours of formula memorize and tons of practice problme(and not to mention i bomb the AP calc exam). And now im going into college and seems like i might have to take calc again which is not a good idea for me. but what can do i...and in desperately wanted to understand more of clac i came across this book....this book is truely amazing...it exaplin everything i learn in my clac class and probably for the first time i clearly knows the meaning of calc and why this calc so much more important...i recommand this book to EVERYBODY...it's soooo good...I wish the auther can wrtie a book on Calculsu 2..and 3...

Summary: Fantastic
Comment: This book was my crutch as I struggled through Calculus I. Each chapter presents the material in a "readable" format. Read it, do the problems at the end of each chapter, and the concepts come to life. I wish there was a book like this for each of my classes.

Summary: Great Book...buy it now!
Comment: This is a great book. I have been using it as a self-study guide to learning calculus and its been of amazing help. There are adequate number of examples in each chapter along with excercises and answers. The book does not indulge in futile background information sessions nor does it burden us with 20 million methods of solving a problem; Instead the author provides us with simple yet understandable and memorable explanations of what is what and why. Also, I find the chapters short and easy to ponder and digest. Had I only known calculus was this great and easy to learn 10 years.
