Comment: I am an amature, first time fish owner and I found this book to have everything I needed to raise healthy happy guppies, mollies and platys. I would highly recommend it. The author explains everything in easy to understand terms. You'll have no trouble raising your fish to be as healthy and happy as mine.

Summary: An Excellent book on Livebearers for the money
Comment: The author is quite an expert on livebearers and his comments frequently appear in the "[email protected]" bulletin board. The book contains good, current information and expert advice, along with both good drawings and good photos. However, every now and then something is "lost in the translation" - lyretail swords, for example, are referred to as "dragon swords", a name not used here in the US. This is, however, an excellent buy for the money!
