Summary: The definitive collection of pre-Bauhaus works.
Comment: This beautifully illustrated massive tomb chronicles how the artist arrived to abstraction. My only regret is the lack of at least some of his Bauhaus years. My favorite Kandinsky flourished at the Bauhaus and in Paris and I hope to find a volume as beautiful and rich as this. It offers no little insight into the man and his art. Recommended for the serious student and true devotee.
