Summary: An eexcellent teaching resource
Comment: This test provides an excellent teaching resource for issues of racism and ethnic/racial diversity. The theory and pedagogy that is is based on is strong and well presented. The chapters are broken down into the process of taking a class through difficult work, challanging them to expand on their horizons, and not focusing on guilt or shame as teaching tools. I have used this text in designing several workshops and community based classes and have also used it as my main source of information for a graduate class in Public Administration and found it to be excellent, regardless of the venue that I am teaching in.
