Summary: Great book for families!
Comment: This is a really fun book for kids and parents to share together. The book revolves around Allie finding something she can give her family members at a get-together. She and her mom find a no-bake recipe for cookies that is perfect! Although never plainly stated, the focus here is on the importance of family in our lives. Everyone brings something to the get-together and Allie wants to show her love in the same way. Another plus for this book...the use of a REAL multiracial, multigenerational family.
